PROFESSIONAL GUNDOG TRAINER &
KENNEL CLUB WORKING GUNDOG CERTIFICATE ASSESSOR
"Having owned working dogs now for ten years, I have twelve gundogs of various breeds at different ages and stages of training - from retired dogs to puppies.
I enjoy every aspect of training and find nothing more pleasurable than watching the dogs make use of their natural abilities.
With many years as a professional trainer under my belt, I have experience with most of the breeds of working gundogs, and love being able to help them all to reach their potential.
Coming from a shooting family, I have been around working dogs since childhood and the heritage and culture of the sport is very important to me.
My dogs make a very good impression on anyone they meet on days out. I work them in teams during the season and have been picking up and beating with them on various prestigious shoots.
By sharing my experience in the training I run at Cotswold Gundogs, I aim to help other people enjoy their dogs as much as I enjoy mine.
I also now take in unwanted dogs for retraining / rehoming, making sure that they all go on to homes where they will enjoy life to the full."
