COVID-19 UPDATE
Following government guidelines on outdoor group meetings, we will be running group classes again from Sunday 21st June with a maximum of 5 handlers per class. Classes will need to be booked in advance so that we can monitor numbers and ensure the guidelines are met, so please BOOK ONLINE to reserve your place!
The welfare of our customers is paramount and our training sessions will adhere to government guidelines regarding social distancing and workplace safety to protect you whilst you train with us.
PUPPY CLASS
PUPPY CLASS
0 - 6 months
The puppy class is designed to help handlers with the first steps of training and provides valuable socialisation for young dogs.
Puppies attending must have completed their vaccinations.

WEEKLY TRAINING
Our structured weekly training levels are designed to take your dog from
complete novice to being ready to work in the shooting field.
All breeds of dogs including crossbreeds and mixed breeds are welcome to attend.
Dogs who complete our training levels will then be ready for assessment for the KENNEL CLUB WORKING GUNDOG CERTIFICATE (or an equivalent Cotswold Gundogs certificate for non-KC registered dogs).
Pet owners are also welcome to attend our classes. The training we offer provides a good grounding of discipline as well as additional mental stimulation for your pet.
Classes are held on Sundays at Sweetslade Farm near Bourton-On-The-Water.

BRONZE LEVEL
Bronze level training provides the initial foundation of gundog skills.

SILVER LEVEL
Silver level training builds on the foundation skills to enable the handler to complete directional tasks with their dog off the lead.

GOLD LEVEL
Gold level training takes dogs that have completed their foundation training up to the next level of remote working and obstacle skills.

PLATINUM LEVEL
Platinum level training further develops and fine tunes the core gundog skills to enable handlers to prepare their dogs for the Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate.

ONGOING ADVANCED TRAINING
For dogs that have completed the Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate or who have done a shooting season.
This out-of-season training class is designed to retain your dog's skills through the summer months prior to the shooting season.

For personalised training focused specifically on the needs of your individual dog(s), Andy offers 1-2-1 sessions.

SHOOT SKILLS TRAINING DAYS
Introductory days for handlers and dogs to learn new skills in preparation for entering the shooting field.
Skills covered: beating, picking up and walk-up shooting.
Peg dog training also available.
