CLAY SHOOT GUNDOG TRAINING DAYS

These training days introduce or reinforce your dogs skills picking up.

Live shots and clays are used on all days.

Our gundog training clay shoot days begin at The Plough Inn, Cold Aston, Cheltenham, Glos. GL54 3BN.

The itinerary for a typical day would be as follows:

09.00 - Arrival, breakfast and briefing.

09.45 - Set off for initial training area.

10.00 - Initial training on how to work your dog with a gun.

11.00 - Set off for initial drive. Drive followed by dummy retrieves for the dogs.

11.15 - Guns on pegs for 1 drive.

12.00 - Break for elevenses.

12.30 - Guns on pegs for 3 further drives. Drives followed by dummy retrieves for the dogs.

15.30 - Lunch and depart.

All training is conducted in a relaxed, friendly environment

with Safety & enjoyment being the priority.
